Another small study painting. I am trying really hard to keep these around 2 hours!

Strawberries

6" X 6" oil on canvas

Another painting I am calling a study. I painted this on unstretched gessoed canvas. I am finding it very toothy and not sure I like painting on this. Still I am happy with the finished product.

Apple Tea

6" X' 6" Oil on Canvas
A small study to help get me back in painting shape. I have been away from painting for sometime now. My time was consumed with creating leather handbags which was and still is very fun and rewarding! I really missed painting though and I am now going to divide my time more evenly. I tend to be a bit obsessive when I do things. LOL!

Fruitful Painting

"Fruitful"10" X 8" oil on masonite board

Grapes are one of my favorite fruits and I do love to paint them. They are so fun and full of light. I painted this on gesso'd masonite type board, and really do like the smooth finished look of this piece. When I painted it yesterday, I wasn't crazy about it, but today when I looked at it, it really popped for me. I have to get used to the surface. Its' really slippery compared to canvas.
